Permitting and compliance specialties

 Our ERP program offers comprehensive services for projects that involve wetlands, surface waters, and shoreline areas. We assist with securing permits and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Our services include: 

• Wetlands -  Boundary delineation per Chapter 62-340, F.A.C., mitigation assessments using the Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM), environmental feasibility studies for proposed developments, permitting assistance, and compliance support for existing violations, including restoration planning. 

• Dock Permitting -  We provide permitting for new docks or dock renovations at single-family and multi-family residences, as well as commercial properties. We evaluate conservation easement restrictions and offers guidance on ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. 

• Shoreline Stabilization -  Permitting services for shoreline protection solutions, including riprap, seawalls, and living shoreline projects, aimed at safeguarding your property from erosion. 

• Mangroves -  We create trimming and restoration plans that balance the desire for scenic views with the protection of mangrove ecosystems consistent with the Mangrove Trimming & Preservation Act requirements, ensuring the health of these vital trees, the stability of your shoreline, and compliance with existing regulations. 

The NPDES program, a portion of the Clean Water Act, regulates stormwater discharge from point source locations such as construction sites and industrial facilities in order to protect the water quality of the receiving bodies of water. The regulated areas which we can assist in are: 

• Construction Generic Permits (CGP) - We can prepare your required Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), conduct required inspections of best management practices (BMPs), file required permitting to ensure your construction site remains in compliance with regulation requirements. 

• Industrial Activities - Assessment of permitting requirements  (Multi-Sector Generic Permit (MSGP) vs. Conditional No Exposure Exclusion (NEX)) specific to your facilities activity sector , creation of a SWPPP , submittal of a Notice of Intent (NOI), conduct required site assessments and annual reporting to the State of Florida.
